This is fun animation from Disney in 1958 speculating on the future of travel. It is amazing how much they got right. (Notice the decentralized city resembling Houston at 2:50) What is not amazing is how we now see most of these proclaimed infrastructural/technological advancements as detrimental to our current social situations.
